Product Description

This product is Original and New ... This is the flexi pcb (ribbon) that connects the LCD circuitry to the main motherboard it runs between the front of the phone to the rear of the phone. If this ribbon is damaged then you are likely to have a LCD screen failure or problem.

Why Change: If your phone appears to work well and the screen lights up but doesnÌt display anything, then it is possible your Flexi PCB (ribbon) could be worn or damaged.

How to fit: Unlike most phones the D840 doesnÌt require any special tools a simple crosshead screwdriver will open this phone. The phone does need to be stripped in order to fit. The D840 isnÌt difficult too fit but itÌs not a 5 minute job either. Look carefully how the D840 is assembled; carefully take away the parts until you are in a position to remove the old ribbon. Then replace with the new ribbon.
