Why Change: If you phone appears to work well and the screen lights up but doesn't display anything, then it is possible you Flexi PCB (ribbon) could we worn or damaged.

How to fit: Unlike most phones the D900i doesn't require any special tools a simple crosshead screwdriver will open this phone. The phone does need to be stripped in order to fit. The D900i isn't difficult too fit but it's not a 5 minute job either. Look carefully how the D900 is assembled; carefully take away the parts until you are in a position to remove the old ribbon. Then replace with the new ribbon.
